June 10, 2013 is the deadline for all Cosmetology licensees to complete continuing education credits and to renew without having to pay a $100 late fee penalty. Licensees taking online courses will have until 11:59 p.m. on June 10, 2013 to complete online courses.  There are also a few in-class courses offered on June 10, 2013. The late fee of $100 will be in effect on June 11, 2013. 

Licensees who choose to take an online course on June 10th will not be able to renew online because the agency’s computer system will not reflect the completion of CEs until USC sends the reports and they are loaded into the agency’s computer system. Instead send the paper renewal and $30 fee postmarked June 10th.

All licensees are responsible for submitting the $30 fee when they renew either online (if taken before June 10th) or by paper (postmarked June 10th) to avoid the $100 late fee which is effective June 11, 2013.
